AT&T Wireless deals, refreshed monthly

AT&T Wireless deals for June 2026

AT&T Wireless's deal structure runs parallel to Verizon's, plan prices are flat, device trade-in promos are where the savings happen, and the Fiber bundle quietly shaves $20/mo off either side. Current April 2026 pricing holds the Unlimited Starter tier at $35/line with 4 lines, the Unlimited Premium tier at $55/line with 4 lines, and the signature upgrade promo gives up to $1,100 off an iPhone 17 Pro with any-condition trade-in. AT&T's multi-line discount is the most aggressive in wireless once you hit 4 lines.

What signals a good AT&T Wireless deal

  • AT&T's Unlimited Premium PL (the "PL" matters, it's the unadvertised tier) includes priority data, 60 GB hotspot, and full 5G+ mmWave access. The difference vs Starter is night and day on busy towers.
  • AT&T's trade-in promos frequently edge out Verizon by $100–200 on the same device. It's worth quoting both carriers when buying a new phone.
  • The Fiber + Wireless bundle discount ($20/mo on wireless) is a lifetime credit, not a 12-month promo. It continues as long as both services are active and stacks nicely with the fiber plan discount.
  • AT&T's 55+ plan (limited to Florida) is the biggest hidden deal, 2 lines of Unlimited 55+ for $80/mo with no 55+ surcharge. If you qualify and live in FL, it's $20/mo cheaper than anything else on the network.
  • Military, first responder, teacher, and nurse discounts ($10/line/mo) stack with the multi-line discount. That's the deepest single-line wireless plan in the US at $25/line for Starter.

Best time to buy

iPhone launch week (mid-September) is the deepest window, AT&T's trade-in credits hit $1,100–1,400 and sometimes add a $200 port-in bonus for switchers. Black Friday is the second-deepest window, especially for Samsung Galaxy. The Galaxy S launch (late January–February) runs similar promos for Android buyers. Mid-summer (May–July) is the dead zone, device credits drop back to $600–800 and there are no port-in bonuses. If you can time it, buy your phone during a launch window and port your number over then.

Frequently asked questions

How does AT&T's trade-in compare to Verizon's?
Similar ballpark but AT&T often leads by $100–200 on flagship Samsung and iPhone launches. Both require the top unlimited tier and 36-month commitment. Quote both before buying.
What's the catch with Unlimited Starter at $35/line?
Data is deprioritized during tower congestion, hotspot is only 5 GB, and there's no 5G+ mmWave access. Fine for light use, upgrade to Premium if you stream or commute in busy metros.
Do the device credits continue if I cancel my plan?
No. If you cancel or downgrade below Unlimited Premium PL, the remaining trade-in credits vanish. You still owe the remaining device balance. This is how AT&T keeps you for the full 36 months.
When do the device promos get deepest?
iPhone launch week (September), Galaxy launch (late January–February), and Black Friday. On those windows, trade-in credits jump from $800 to $1,100–1,400 on the flagship. Outside those windows, $600–800 is typical.
Can I combine AT&T Fiber + Wireless + DIRECTV bundle discounts?
Not directly, DIRECTV is technically a separate company now after the 2021 spinoff. The Fiber + Wireless stack is the core bundle. DIRECTV sometimes runs its own cross-promo with AT&T Fiber but it's not continuous.
