Cox deals, refreshed monthly
Cox deals for June 2026
Cox's promo calendar is the least generous of the big cable ISPs, shorter intro periods, smaller discounts, and a hard 1.25 TB data cap on every plan except StraightUp Internet. The tradeoff: Cox runs in markets (Phoenix, San Diego, Las Vegas, New Orleans) where fiber is often unavailable, so the comparison set is itself thin. Current April 2026 pricing holds the 500 Mbps Go Faster tier at $60/mo for 12 months, introduces a "no-annual-contract" option on all tiers, and runs a $150 Visa card on 1 Gig and above.

What signals a good Cox deal
- Cox's 1.25 TB data cap is the most restrictive headline policy among big ISPs. Overage is $10 per 50 GB up to $100/mo. Unlimited data is a separate $50/mo add-on, budget for it if you stream 4K or work remotely.
- StraightUp Internet is Cox's hidden value tier, prepaid, no cap, no contract, flat $50/mo. Worth it if you don't need more than 100 Mbps and want to skip the promo/regular-rate cycle entirely.
- The Panoramic Wi-Fi gateway (built-in router) is $14/mo rental, this is NOT waived in the promo. You can bring your own modem to skip it, but you'll lose the Panoramic app features.
- Cox's 12-month promo is shorter than Xfinity's 24-month offering. If you're choosing between the two in a competitive market, Xfinity's rate-lock usually wins on total-cost-of-ownership.
- Cox's retention department is aggressive, call month 11 and they'll almost always extend your promo rate another 12 months. This is part of the pricing model; treat it as required.
