Spectrum deals, refreshed monthly

Spectrum deals for June 2026

Spectrum's pitch is simple: no contracts, no data caps, and a flat 12-month promo rate across all three internet tiers. Unlike Xfinity, Spectrum almost never runs 24-month rate-locks, the promo is always 12 months, and the rate jump at month 13 is steep. Current April 2026 pricing holds the $30 introductory tier for 300 Mbps and bundles Spectrum Mobile's "unlimited free line" perk for internet subscribers.

What signals a good Spectrum deal

  • Spectrum's headline price is honest, there's no contract, no data cap, no installation fee if you self-install, and the taxes are low. The regular rate at month 13 is where they make the money.
  • The "free Unlimited Mobile line for 12 months" is Spectrum's best unadvertised offer, it's worth ~$45/mo on its own and stacks with any internet tier.
  • Spectrum's Wi-Fi router add-on ($7/mo) is trivial, but if you already own a router, skip it and save $84/year.
  • Because there's no contract, you can renegotiate or leave at month 13 without an ETF. Always call retention before the promo expires, they'll usually drop you back to the intro rate or close to it.
  • Spectrum TV's bundled streaming (Disney+, ESPN+, Max on Select Plus) is a real add, worth about $20/mo if you'd otherwise subscribe separately.

Best time to buy

Spectrum's pricing is flat year-round, promos don't get materially better on Black Friday. The right move is to sign up any time you need service, because the 12-month clock starts the day you install. The one exception: when Spectrum expands fiber to your area ("Spectrum Fiber"), there's usually a 3-month launch window with aggressive intro pricing. Watch spectrum.com for fiber availability updates.

Frequently asked questions

How often does Spectrum raise the price?
Once, at month 13, and it's a hard jump, typically +$20–50/mo. After that, the price is usually stable unless you add services. Unlike Xfinity, there's no gradual creep.
Does Spectrum ever run longer than 12-month promos?
Very rarely. The 12-month intro is Spectrum's standard playbook. The longest promotional pricing we see is 24 months on bundles that include TV, and even those are market-specific.
Can I bring my own modem and router?
Router, yes. Modem: Spectrum includes the modem free with the plan, so there's no equipment fee to avoid. You can still use your own if you prefer.
Is the free Mobile line worth it if I already have a carrier?
Usually yes, add the free line to an old phone and use it as a hotspot backup, or swap your primary line over. It's free for 12 months with no obligation to keep it.
What happens at month 13?
Your bill jumps to the regular rate ($80 for 300 Mbps). Call Spectrum retention the week before, mention you're considering switching, and they'll usually extend the promo or drop you to the next-lower tier's intro rate.
